Community Guidelines

RideWolf exists for one reason — to connect riders who don’t want to ride alone. We’re a community built on a shared love of the road, mutual respect, and the simple joy of finding someone to ride with. These guidelines exist to keep that community safe, welcoming, and worth being part of.

Who RideWolf Is For

RideWolf is exclusively for adults aged 18 and older who hold a valid motorcycle operator’s license or endorsement. By using the app you confirm that you meet both requirements. Accounts found to belong to unlicensed or underage riders will be permanently removed immediately.

Our Core Values

Every rider on RideWolf is expected to uphold three things: Safety, Respect, and Authenticity. Everything else flows from those three values.

The Rules

Ride Safe, Always

Never pressure other riders to exceed their skill level, ride faster than they’re comfortable with, or take routes beyond their experience. Respect the skill levels declared in profiles and Ride Now requests. If someone says they’re a beginner, ride like it matters — because it does. RideWolf is not the place for racing, reckless riding, or encouraging others to break traffic laws. Content that glorifies dangerous or illegal riding behavior will be removed and may result in account suspension.

Be Who You Say You Are

Use your real name, a real photo, and accurate information in your profile. This includes your skill level and riding experience — misrepresenting these things puts other riders at risk. Fake profiles, impersonation, and misleading information undermine the trust that makes Ride Now and ride invitations possible. Other riders are making real decisions about meeting up based on your profile.

Show Up When You Commit

If you create a ride, accept an invitation, or match through Ride Now — show up. Repeatedly ghosting other riders is unfair to the community and will affect your standing on the platform. If something comes up, cancel promptly through the app so others aren’t left waiting. Attendance is tracked. Creators who repeatedly cancel on participants, and participants who are consistently marked as no-shows, may have their accounts reviewed.

Communicate Respectfully

All messaging on RideWolf must be respectful. Harassment, threatening language, hate speech, or unwanted contact of any kind will result in immediate removal. This applies to in-app messages, ride descriptions, profile bios, and any other content you post in the app.

Respect Privacy

Do not share another rider’s personal information — location, phone number, workplace, or any identifying details — outside of RideWolf without their explicit consent. What’s shared in the app stays in the app. Using information learned through RideWolf to contact, locate, or monitor another rider outside the platform is a serious violation and may be reported to law enforcement.

Be Inclusive

RideWolf is for every rider — regardless of gender, age, ethnicity, riding style, or what’s in your garage. Discrimination of any kind has no place here. A cruiser rider and a sport bike rider are just two people who love to ride. Ride types and bike type preferences in ride listings are for compatibility purposes only and may never be used to exclude riders on the basis of protected characteristics.

Safety When Meeting Up

When meeting a new rider through Ride Now or a ride invitation for the first time, we strongly recommend:

• Meeting in a public, well-lit place — a parking lot, gas station, or popular riding spot
• Letting someone you trust know where you’re going, who you’re meeting, and when you expect to be back
• Reviewing the other rider’s profile, rider level, and endorsements before accepting
• Keeping your emergency contacts up to date in the app’s Safety settings
• Trusting your instincts — if something feels off before or during the meetup, it is always okay to cancel or leave
• Never riding beyond your own comfort level regardless of group pressure

RideWolf’s safety features — including emergency contacts, safety check-ins, and location sharing — are tools to help you stay connected during rides. Use them.

Ride Now Guidelines

Ride Now is designed for spontaneous same-day riding. When using Ride Now:

• Post your request only when you genuinely intend to ride that day
• Set your skill level and group size preferences accurately
• Review a match’s profile before accepting — you are choosing to ride with this person
• You always have the right to decline a match for any reason
• Once in the lobby, coordinate your meetup details before heading out
• Tap “Done — End Ride” when your session is complete so both riders receive proper credit

Attendance and Ride Credits

RideWolf’s rider level system rewards riders who show up. Attendance is tracked and credits are awarded after each ride is verified. The system works on trust — and misusing it damages the community.

• Do not mark yourself as attending a ride you did not actually participate in
• Ride creators who abuse the attendance review window to unfairly remove participants will have their accounts reviewed
• Credits are not awarded for cancelled rides or rides you were removed from as a no-show

Endorsements

RideWolf’s endorsement system lets riders recognize each other after a real shared ride. Endorsements are earned through actual experience — you can only endorse someone you’ve ridden with. This keeps our trust system meaningful and honest. Never pressure someone for an endorsement or offer anything in exchange for one. Fake endorsements violate these guidelines and will result in account action.

Reporting

If someone makes you uncomfortable, violates these guidelines, or you have safety concerns about another rider, use the Report button on their profile or in a conversation. Every report is reviewed by the RideWolf team. Reports are confidential — the reported user will never know who filed the report. For urgent safety concerns, contact us here. For emergencies, always call 911 first.

Enforcement

• Warning — for first-time minor violations
• Temporary suspension — for repeated violations or moderate offenses
• Permanent ban — for severe violations or patterns of harmful behavior
• Immediate permanent ban — for zero tolerance violations listed above (no warning given)

Appeals

If you believe your account was suspended or banned in error, contact us here with your username and a description of the situation. We review every appeal and respond within 5 business days. Zero tolerance violations are not eligible for appeal.

Changes to These Guidelines

We may update these guidelines as the community grows. When we make significant changes we will notify users through the app. Continued use of RideWolf after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated guidelines.
