(“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information in relation to our mobile application RideWolf (the “App”). This Policy applies to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the App (“Users”).

By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Policy. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, do not download, register with, or use this App.

2.1 Information You Provide to Us

We collect information you provide directly to us, including:

  • Profile information (profile photo, bio, riding experience, skill level)
  • Motorcycle information (make, model, type)
  • Ride information you create or join (title, location, date, time, description)

  • Safety information (emergency contacts, medical information you choose to provide)
  • Reports or feedback you submit about other users

2.2 Information We Collect Automatically

When you use our App, we automatically collect certain information, including:

Device Information:

  • Device type, model, and operating system version
  • Unique device identifiers used for push notification delivery
  • App version and crash data

Location Information:

  • Approximate location used for ride discovery and Ride Now matching
  • Precise location when you enable location sharing during rides
  • Location is used only to connect you with nearby riders and is not sold to third parties

Usage Information:

  • App features used and interactions
  • Rides created, joined, and completed
  • Session duration and frequency

2.3 Information from Third Parties

If you sign in using Google, we receive basic profile information from Google including your name and email address, in accordance with Google’s privacy policies.

3. How We Use Your Information

3.1 Provide and Maintain Services

  • Create and manage your account
  • Enable ride creation, discovery, and matching features
  • Match riders through the Ride Now feature based on location and preferences
  • Send push notifications about rides, matches, and alerts
  • Enable messaging between users
  • Provide safety features including emergency contact sharing
  • Track ride credits and rider level progression
  • Respond to support requests

  • Verify accounts and activity
  • Monitor for fraudulent, illegal, or unsafe behavior

4. How We Share Your Information

4.1 With Other Users

Certain profile information is visible to other users based on your privacy settings, including your username, profile photo, rider level, bike type, and ride history. Your precise location is never shared without your explicit consent.

4.2 Service Providers

We share information with third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf:

  • Supabase — database and authentication infrastructure
  • Apple — push notification delivery via Apple Push Notification Service (APNS)
  • Google — authentication via Google Sign-In

4.3 Business Transfers

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, asset sale, or bankruptcy, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

4.4 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to court orders, government or regulatory requests, law enforcement authorities, or to protect rights, property, or safety.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your information within 90 days, except where retention is required by law or legitimate business purposes.

6. Your Rights and Choices

6.1 Access and Correction

You may access and update your profile information at any time through the App’s settings.

6.2 Deletion

You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at support@ridewolf.app.

6.3 Location Services

You may disable location services through your iPhone settings. Note that disabling location will limit the App’s ability to find nearby rides and match you with riders through Ride Now.

6.4 Push Notifications

You may disable push notifications through your iPhone Settings. Note that disabling notifications means you will not receive Ride Now matches, ride invitations, or other time-sensitive alerts.

6.5 Withdraw Consent

Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us or adjusting settings within the App.

7. California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act:

7.1 Right to Know

You have the right to request information about the categories of personal information we collect, the purposes for which we use it, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.

7.2 Right to Delete

You may request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.

7.3 Right to Opt-Out of Sale

We do not sell personal information.

7.4 Right to Non-Discrimination

We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

7.5 Shine the Light

California residents may request information about personal information shared with third parties for direct marketing purposes. We do not share personal information with third parties for direct marketing.

8. European Privacy Rights (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, and port your personal data, and to object to processing. 9. Children’s Privacy

The App is intended exclusively for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn we have collected information from a user under 18, we will delete that information and terminate their account immediately. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, please contact us at support@ridewolf.app.

10. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and at rest, row-level security on our database, secure authentication via the iOS Keychain, access controls and authentication, and incident response procedures. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

11. Location Data and Ride Safety

RideWolf collects location data to enable core features including ride discovery and Ride Now matching. Your precise location is only shared with other users when you explicitly enable location sharing during a ride or as part of the safety check-in feature. We do not continuously track or store your precise location history beyond what is necessary to provide the Services.

12. International Users

The App is operated in the United States. If you are located outside the United States, please be aware that information we collect will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the App, you consent to this transfer, processing, and storage of your information in the United States.

13. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the App, updating the “Last Updated” date, and sending notification through the App or email. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
